Mark Arabo
Board Member

Mark Arabo is a distinguished business leader who has focused on community organizing, business development for consumer goods production, refugee assistance, and meal distribution. He was first appointed to the 22nd District Agricultural Association Board of Directors in 2023.

Arabo, born into an immigrant family, is a graduate of San Diego State University. He started his professional career with Anheuser-Busch’s sales team before collaborating with more than 2,000 California grocers to establish the state’s largest co-op, which helped negotiate lower rates with major food producers. In 2015, Arabo founded Refined Management, a multimillion-dollar consulting, management, and food services firm.

In November 2019, Mark Arabo was appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom to the California Workforce Development Board (CWDB). As a board member he was responsible for assisting the Governor in performing the duties and responsibilities required by the Federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014.

Arabo resides in San Diego along with his wife Randa and their four young children.
